Deborah L. Cochelin offers mediation services which include the areas of elder law, trusts and estates, and personal injury matters. Alternative dispute models serve as the framework designed to reach agreements among parties to resolve disputes without going to trial or commencing litigation.
Elder mediation is a non-adversarial approach to facilitating the repair of damage which may have emerged among family members, caregivers, care facilities, or other interested parties. Issues may arise in these conflicts from advanced age, death, long term illness, or disability. Mediation provides a method to achieve results which may not have otherwise been realized by improving communications. Negotiating resolutions in a safe, comfortable, and confidential setting encourages more freely flowing exchanges of information which expedites the success of the process.
Mediations can be conducted statewide at locations based upon an agreement of the parties. For more information about mediation services and scheduling, the parties may contact me by email or telephone.
